Yep....agree....they have the populations and manufacturing.>> One can NOT be Gloom and Doom without sound reason, one must analyze, perceive a pattern, one that is repeated over time, over and over in Human History. i have been just now pondering deeply the rise of Nazi Germany, and what the repetive event in history i call Gotterdammarung Contagion that we saw in Germany, show itself once again. A once major world power was in collapse, so where did the money start to go, to go into building a MASSIVE Military Machine. The German Empire was lost, it was dead, it could NOT accept that, and a war mad leader rises and the public goes crazy. Germany sets it course to Gotterdammarung, which simply means we rather attempt die in flames attempting glorious conquest than just fade as a power from history. The American Empire is as huge an Empire in World History but for all with HONEST EYES they can see the handwriting on the Wall, we are in a major global shift, and our economy will fade and fade, and eventually collapse due to the INSANE QE process to prevent the inevitable turning of the wheel to Asia's taking up more and more of Gross International Product. Rule of History Major Empires get crazy when fading, they can't handle it, so what do they do, they build and build and build an awesome/stunnng INSANELY armed to the teeth and beyond Military. Why? It is the Gotterdammarung madness all over again. No country in the world approaches the size/immensity of our military. A time will come when as the world economy shifts away from us, and the life quality in U.S. gets worse and worse, we as a people in dying Empire get insane, songs like "I Am Proud To Be An American" will flood the airwaves/"Don't Tread on Me" flags will proliferate, and overall will of the people only ill be USE OUR POWERFUL Military Power and remind the world We Are King of The Hill. But there has been a huge change though, military weaponry has accelerated to World Destruct capacity. i am anti-war, i am 90% passivist, but i can see that all Peace Movements have failed MISERABLY thru out history. The Vietnam War should have been stopped in two years, but it went on for 10years--as aquite an activist in the Vietnam Peace movement i can can say frankly, the movement in changing history was FEEBLE, and it truth, it has never been weaker--it is TOOTHLESS---ignore polls--they are just polls, not what is really happening. i will say that those i was an activist with that STILL BELIEVE world peace is achievable, and even near, are just plain DELUSIONAL. They are good people, i love them all--but they don't grasp reality, but clutch desperately to their FEELGOOD dream. So to cut to a simple summation in the limits of this short post i write a prophecy, and that is: As this country falls slowly down and down in the world economy, it will become ever more angry and dangerous. Bottomline, there is much more than economics in play here, as this country, in its embedded arrogance, be JUGGLING BOTTLES of Nitroglycerine, at some point the bottles will all fall to the ground. i myself remain willing to die for an anti-war movement that get in a aggressive confrontation with our NOW PROFESSIONAL STATE MILITARY MACHINE, but that would be just a gesture that i hold my soul to be far more important than my life--any anti-war movement will fail, but i would participate again in that failure(that is if i am stil vigorous--which i still am at 69, but the clock ticks on my time here:).
