Well, the only thing that renders TX livable is air conditioning. Whereas, CA has weather, at least where I lived, where EVERY DAY is as nice as the best day of the year, weatherwise, in TX.

Austin USED to be great, but now it's just a huge congested city like many others in TX.

I'd have to say, I prefer CA. But, I'm an outdoor fan.
