If the US markets tank in October, which is fairly common pattern, I predict the November elections will favor Republicans, who will probably be exploiting those market conditions. If the market rallies in October, I predict the Dems will benefit from highlighting a recovering economy as their calling card. What does your crystal ball say?

As for the market, I think a rally is more likely than a pull back because I think the economy is better than the media is presenting. However, I think the November elections is anyone's guess. Your suggestion makes sense but then this is an unusual election cycle and anything is possible. So we will see.

On the lighter side of the news, I saw the video clip of Bristol Palin at DWTS. Given she's a novice, I thought she was a quite good. Disclosure.....I have never watched the show and know nothing about dance. Here's the clip:

Sept. is proving to be the best month for stocks this year. This is contrary to history.

I suppose Oct. should also be fine considering that quarterly reports are due then and are expected to be good.

Must be global warming, eh!!! :)
