<The URL you gave is for an obsolete document no longer on the
<server. The current document shows that ALL ERRATA LISTED FOR
<STEPPING B WERE CORRECTED IN STEPPING C. Unfortunately, Intel
<pointedly insists on NOT FIXING its bugs listed in its errata
<document.

Petz, do I have to hold your hand on everything? You're totally
wrong. At the top of the article is the AMD link. Here it is again
and please take the time to open your eyes and read it. It is NOT
OBSOLETE, it is posted on AMD's website at:
www.amd.com/K6/k6docs/revgd.html

This is the current bug list and anyone can read it for themselves.
Download the document. It's a pdf file so you'll need adobe to read
it. Go to section :
2.7 Numeric processing.
2.7.1 Numeric Multiply with extended precision.
PRODUCTS AFFECTED B&C Steppings.
Resolution Status: This "erratum will be fixed in a future stepping.

Other bugs NOT FIXED IN C-STEPPING:
1. Memory access Using Null selectors:
2. HLDA Assertion Delayed by One Clock:
3: Built in Self Test

You are totally wrong. You have been one of the few people on this
thread supporting AMD who could actually present a rational
arguement. You are doing yourself a diservice by being this careless
and badly missrepresenting the facts. The K6 has bugs every bit as
serious as the imfamous Intel FPU bug. These bugs still exist and
AMD confirms it. It cost Intel $500 Million to replace the same kind
of bug.
If you have some facts to back up your claims please present them,
but AMD's current bug list, available on their website, says the bugs
are still there, despite your claims otherwise.

You can do better than this Pert.
