Mike: "TA. You must be one good trader as the low for the march 30 calls is 2.".
I am not counting the hatched chicken yet.
However an interesting scenario occurred today: Vivus volume was down to about 500000 shares /day pre-split.
Tha tis beggining to appoach the lows of 400K and 300K and in particular 275K that occurerd back June I believe when I bought Vivus at 16.5. Those lows lasted only 2-3 days each. What I am reading is that the sellers are, begginning to dry up>Meanwhile we still have all the shorts out there. The current holders, almost 2/3 institutionsl investors, are all hardened folks, who have been well informed on the companies fundies at all the special conferences
tha Vivus held. Leo and Braddy and Myron Kor are not going to scare these guys off. These guys bought Vivus for exactly what is about to occur; UK,new factory, booming sales. They now that a bird in the hand( Vivus) is worth 2 in the bush(Viagrs).
Maybe they also attended the investment conference that Dr Tom Lue, chief investigator for Viagra gave ( mentioned in the ED article in Newsweek ( post #2323) ) where he told people " he was not investing in PFE because it was too high ". Maybe Dr Lue knows something a lot of PFE investors don't.
