Matt , who developed fire assay technique??? I have always been
under the impression that the Canadians have always been further
ahead than the US on mining techniques, is that it?? the Canadians couldn't extract the desert dirt metals??<Cdn.labs can't seem to find thierhind-end with both hands> Prehaps they use toliet paper and dont
get thier hands in it. I really dont think we are that much smarter
south of the border. It seems to me that Canadians are world
renown for rescource developing and geology. Why the slam??
Or do you think mining scams only happen to firms on the Canadian exchanges?? Am I missing the point of your post?? Is it in jest??
Thanks

Ledoux and Roots and Norton are good american labs. A lot of scammers stay away from R and N as they won't put up with nonsense.

There is a very famous one in New York City, an umpire lab but I cannot recall their name. Labzeheimers.

Up in Canuck country its a mixed bag but we do lots. Strangely you never hear of the British but their chemists at Cambridge cleaned up
fire assaying in the 20's and 30's which was a mess all over, particularly in the states. Lots of work was done at U of T in the 30's. In Pt assaying. Taggart and Haultain. In 1978 a C got the drop on everybody and developed accurate and good Pt by Na and ICP with nickel sulfur fusion. Work was paid for by Inco who strangely did then no underground Pt assays. This revolutionized non-south-african Pt assaying. Assays increased by 40% to 50%.

ok labs are Swastika, Acme Analytical, Bell White, Bourlamaque, Bondar Clegg, Loring Labs (Calgary). There are lesser lights and ones to stay away from. I am not crazy about X-RaL, Chauncey, Thunder Bay Testing, TSL, Accurassay, and Assayers. I can probably assay as well as any of them and more accurate if not more precise.

Matt... we could probably get something posted in USA Today. It does have more credibility with investors than Northern Miner.
