No, we'd have a different idea of what right and wrong is. Your pagan ancestors who practiced human sacrifice no doubt thought it was a worthwhile thing to do. Ancient Romans and Greeks who decided to throw out a newborn girl baby to die of exposure didn't think they were doing wrong.
