Whitman was aware of her status," Allred said Wednesday Can you imagine what the Whitman campaign was like when they found out Allred was the former maid's attorney? Campaign workers scurrying around frantically with yellowed water dripping from their trousers and skirts. It must have been a sight for sore eyes. <g>
