The main point (with the AIG bailout) wasn't whether or not the taxpayors would get that money back....it was that it enabled all of the fraudsters who sold CDO's on worthless mortgage debt to counterparties around the world to be made whole on their theivery.

The main point of saving AIG was to keep the global economy for cratering because AIG's tentacles were in nearly every major market in the world.

That's OK in the national socialist central planned economy, but don't call it capitalism.

Oh please.....here we go with the socialism thingy. Next the communists will be coming to Phoenix. The same people who got your governor in power are the ones who you sold that bag of horse manure.
