BC,

I could not agree more. Bernanke is nothing but a criminal and he needs to be treated as such. That this scumbag do-nothing has the power to debase endlessly and at will and then flood money anywhere he wants is way outside the bounds of what the Fed should be. They are fxxxxxx private company with private objectives, but our clowns in Congress are bought and paid for (well, enough are that they have the votes they need to stop anything).

The election will mean nothing.

I ask myself this question. When that day comes and I hopefully trade my gold for the Dow (or whatever) at 1/1, do I really want to own equities? The question is, when will the Fed NOT be in the market? I do not want to "invest" in a market that has no rules or rules that are changed on a whim and notification of that change is telegraphed inside to the club.

It is all complete bullshit. But in a sense, it is a perfect example of what has happened to this once great country. Ike warned us and we didn't listen.
