Good points, loco. I am opposed to a flat tax because I think that limits freedom and punishes people who would rather save than spend. I think a usage tax (or so-called use tax/consumption tax) is a better taxing program.

But you're absolutely right about the government's size and scope. It should be gutted, HARD!

Hell, to many people, working for the government or being elected is like winning the lottery. That mentality must stop, NOW!
