Any bets on how long the border will be closed? Afterall, it's not just US forces they are depriving of supplies, but a good portion of Afghanistan (including that Chinese copper mine)? My bet is that this will get hashed out within a few weeks. There's a lot of money at stake for the Pakistani truckers who haul that stuff. But we do have a backup through Russia, albeit more expensive: europeaninstitute.org Pakistan is a complex situation.. They are embarrassed that they have very little control over their frontier and the tribes that live there. But this is just as much a power play against Afghanistan, as it is against the US. Hawk
