I'm not sure just which quarters WDC was talking about, but at 50% MR they're still selling almost 4 million TFI drives. IF APM has a monopoly on TFI heads now (I may have missed something but until recently I had assumed that they were the only TFI producers since last summer), then they at least have a cushion of business for the short term. I'm just sorry to say that I agree that the next 6 to 9 months will be pretty depressing for those of us who continue to hold APM. I'm willing to bet that at some time within the next year, investors will be led to the same levels of confidence that they were regarding MU over the past year.
