Question to All: I am exploring the strategy of buying calls and puts on highly volitile securities (ideally right before big news that could sway price one way or another). There is a name for this that I can't recall. TBR looks like a great candidate. Does anybody have any hints or warnings for successfully persuing this strategy? Any other good candidates? (Perhaps NN before earnings?) Thanks in advance.

Ted

<I am with you on the couch again... ~pout~>

I am spending way too much time on the couch with no corresponding fun.

Think about this...it seems the TBR options are consistently on the + side...so if you are trying to do a daytrade or overnight trade...might the plus factor stay in?....so compare these numbers with tomorrow and see if they zap it out...I dont think they will because of the volatility in this thing

remember our "led head" (KEVIN W. --wouldnt have guessed it!!)is the voice of reason on TBR...last go 'round when he popped up it dropped down to the levels he was talking about.

btw, thanks to the Fred and John who sent me mail...but you all should post once in a while. Now if someone would just send me a site with that B.S. model!! I dont want to have to sign up for ETRADE!

tomorrow our dear OJ is going to get the test to see just how hip he was for HIS generation....

OJ..be sure to check out my midi tomorrow.

request: for you foreigners...I have been requested to find a midi for
"Ace of Spades" by Motorhead. That is a song we do in Holland on New years eve...at least the times I have been over there with my buds ( as THEY shoot fireworks into other peoples windows, throw potted plants on each others heads, and do something "green" in the snow from green vodka (me...I just innocently sit back and watch the shenanigans and smile my little kitten babe smile) Not enough recognition over here for anyone to bother doing a midi on it!! and no search brings it up. Let me know if you have seen one.

Electric Dude (Dudette?)-

So the pluses in the second section means they're over valued according to B/S. What's the leverage # mean? Any significance to the ones with negative leverage? What's the best theroretically? The ones with the largest positive leverage?? -Neal
