Whether the rich are getting richer and even whether they are getting a bigger share of a growing pie has NOTHING to do with depriving anyone of anything. The poor are not poorer than they otherwise would be because someone else is wealthier. In fact, they're almost certainly better off from living in a society where the economy is so dynamic that people can get rich.

The ONLY reason for you to think someone getting richer hurts someone else is if you think the economic pie is static, ie the economy is a zero sum game.
