Foreclosures Slow as Document Flaws Emerge

See.....this is an example of what I was saying earlier to you. The media is obsessed with the housing debacle....foreclosures, short sales, upside down mortagages, housing prices, etc. It has led to poor reporting and/or repeated reporting over the same issues ad nauseum. Flaws in the documentation and flaws in the foreclosure process are always a problem with foreclosures. Actually, the flaws are more associated with the eviction process in a foreclosure.

In the past, most people didn't fight foreclosure....they usually skipped in 'the middle of the nite'. Complicating matters this time though is the fact that people feel like they were intentionally screwed by the banks and feel no remorse in screwing the banks over. So they are doing everything they can to fight the process. And the lenders are messing up because they don't know the correct procedure to evict people.....a process that, depending on the state, can be complicated and very detail oriented.

In any case, these problems were noted over a year ago. However, this article makes it sound like they just started happening recently. Its BS. This too will pass.

BTW I think its great........the slower the process, the less inventory to contend with at one time and the more time people have to get their financial acts together. The downside, of course, is that people are losing all respect for institutions and that can lead to anarchy. Where is Marie Antoinette when we need her advice?
