Alaska permanent fund comes out in a few days. You cannot imagine how many people it helps. I was in costco today and both checkers couldn't wait for their permanent fund.

Helps the poor pay bills, single mothers to buy school cloths and christmas presents, rural folks to buy fuel oil before winter.

Of course to give a shit about these things one has to care about the suffering of people.
