Inflation isn't nonexistent today. The value of the money is being deflated daily. Assuming inflation will remain at todays levels is a novel idea. How did you develop that idea? The dollar has fallen about 12% since the Spring of this year. In a world market eventually this catches up and purchases require more dollars.

You seem to have some faith that inflation cannot return. If the economy returns inflation will return with it.

I suppose the lame duck session can make a law stating there will be no more inflation. Obama will sign it and all will be well...right?

Actually they could try that but federal price controls have proved ineffective in the past.

Election 2010: Pennsylvania Governor
Pennsylvania Governor: Corbett (R) Reaches Highest Level of Support Yet Against Onorato (D)
Saturday, October 02, 2010 Email to a Friend ShareThis.Republican Tom Corbett now holds a 12-point lead over Democrat Dan Onorato in the race for Pennsylvania’s next governor.

The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone of Likely Voters shows Corbett, the state’s attorney general, picking up 53% of the vote. Onorato, Allegheny’s county executive, draws 41% of the vote. One percent (1%) prefer some other candidate while five percent (5%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

This is the first Rasmussen Reports survey of Pennsylvania’s gubernatorial race to include leaners. Leaners are those who initially indicate no preference for either of the candidates but answer a follow-up question and say they are leaning towards a particular candidate. Rasmussen Reports now considers results with leaners the primary indicator of the race.

When leaners are excluded from the totals, Corbett holds a 53% to 40% lead over Onorato.

In Pennsylvania’s U.S. Senate race, Republican Pat Toomey still stands just short of 50% against Democrat Joe Sestak

(Want a free daily e-mail update ? If it's in the news, it's in our polls). Rasmussen Reports updates are also available on Twitter or Facebook.

The statewide survey of 750 Likely Voters in Pennsylvania was conducted on September 29, 2010 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 4 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. See methodology.

Additional data from the survey will be released at RasmussenReports.com/Pennsylvania.

Election 2010: Senate Balance Of Power
Senate Balance of Power: Dems 49 GOP 47 Toss-Ups 4
Thursday, September 30, 2010 Email to a Friend ShareThis.Advertisement
New polling in Wisconsin moves that state's Senate race to Leans Republican from Toss-Up.

Another survey released today from Washington moved that state's senate race to Toss-Up from Leans Democrat.

The U.S. Senate race in Delaware has been moved to Solid Democrat from Leans Democrat as a result of Republican Mike Castle's decision to drop out of the race.

Current projections suggest that the Democrats would hold 49 seats after Election Day while the Republicans would hold 47. Four states are in the Toss-Up category (Illinois, Nevada, Washington, and West Virginia). All four Toss-Ups are seats currently held by Democrats.

Republicans have the edge in five Democratic-held Senate seats--Arkansas, Colorado, Indiana, North Dakota, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

At the moment, no Republican-held seats appear headed for the Democratic column.

The state results and overall projections will be updated whenever new polling data justifies a change (to learn how Rasmussen Reports determines its Balance of Power rankings, click here).

In the table below, the states marked in red currently have a Republican senator. Those in blue currently have a Democratic senator.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, BS....................!!! Consumer prices are rising as the clock ticks. Inflation is being artificially suppressed by Alum Greenspurt's hand-picked droid - Bonehead Benanke and the Money Meddling Mob at the FED. Major financial experts and numerous commentators are already blaring the alarms that we are "..one failed Treasuries Auction away from seeing interest rates go back through the roof..".

Where do you get your horseshit from; ...direct delivery by Waste Management..??? Close your Super(W)itch comic book, put away your jar of DNC Vaseline, and turn on News Radio, you twit.

Whaddafreakin' dork. . I'll bet you volunteered for the Re-elect Jimmy Carter effort before he bailed, aye........
