DD,

Earnings grew from 2.1M to 3.2M. On a fully diluted basis, .39 to .60 for a 53% increase. They've been doing this almost every Q and no one pays it much attention.

Price drop? With the volume, Namtai may be selling the rest of their holdings. Probably timed it with the earnings release thinking they would get best price. If so, it's a chance to buy at 8.5 fully diluted PE on last 4Q - for a company that's been reporting 60% growth!!

They've no debt and huge cash surplus for a company their size.

Ron

DD,

Further comment - I've been following the NTAIF thread. They are thinking that it's a good buy at the 18.25. That's about 13.5x fully diluted earnings for a company that's shown inconsistencies in revs and earnings. Deswell has been as solid as can be - no games, just making profits and expanding their business to make more. I value NTAIF around 17.50 taking into consideration their new cash. I think a lot of the offering won't be exercised and it will hit the market. IMO - NTAIF could get to 16 or even lower.
