HATE RALLY: ‘ONE SOCIALIST NATION’

Socialist protesters and paraphernalia dominated today's left-wing protest rally in Washington, DC. The so-called "One Nation" rally was led by labor unions and the NAACP.

We call on the NAACP to repudiate and condemn the socialists in their ranks.

"To be sure, the original TARP concept -- a fund to purge the banks' balance sheets of illiquid assets -- proved unworkable."

How in the world can a plan that provesd to be unworkable be considered a succuss? Instead of purging the balance sheets of illiquid assets the UAW union was bailed out. Now who is going to bail out their pension fund? Or the government pension funds? They still have their illiquid assets on their balance sheets. As do the insurance companies. The illiquid assets are still on the balance sheets at face value instead of market value. The TARP proved to be unworkable! Maybe spin will save the illiquid economy. Maybe monertizing the debt will work this time even though it never has in the past. I know we can spend our way out of the illiquid economy.
