yes, but in buying stocks, one has to be atuned to the political landscape and what happens when changes take place in washington. this reminds me of what happened in the 80's. everyone thought that reagan was an idiot. they made fun of him. idiot idiot idiot they all said. Now,Palin is an idiot. keep making fun of the "silent majority". and buy stocks like things will not change.... the number of democrats that will vote for lower taxes is , wellllll very large. all of the south will joint the coalition. obamacare is not well accepted- to say the least. the silent majority is rising up. is this post hate speech...? or a call for simple democracy?

marc, In a forum which strives to be objective, the trouble with introducing direct or subtle personal political opinions into posts is that you potentially alienate some who might otherwise respect your opinions or work. The hollyweird "stars" do this a lot. I'd speculate they get half their potential audience boycotting their movies - pretty bad business policy in my opinion. Many formerly respected news media outlets are in denial that they are suffering continual declines in circulation and viewership because of such bias. P
