Brumar, doesn't Krugman realize that what he's advocating will decrease tax revenues, not increase them?

There is no evidence at all that a 91% tax rate on the top income bracket (along with all the other punitive tax brackets just below the top) will increase tax revenues, decrease the growing gap between rich and poor, or generally benefit society as a whole. But there is plenty of evidence of the opposite.

Krugman is no economist. And that's my unqualified but frank opinion.
