If the tea party succeeds in getting some members in the Senate, they will be at war with the other members of the Senate Republicans. So in essence we will have three parties in the Senate. It looks now the Tea Party is first focussing on marginalizing the Republicans. And Angle's secretly taped discussion supports that.

Whatever happens the Tea Party will I think be the single most powerful force for change in American Politics through 2012.

The dynamics of a Presidential year election will be very different in that students and African Americans and Hispanics will be out in force then. And add to that the possibility of a Obama-Hillary ticket. And why not. Even if Hillary becomes President in 2016, she will be younger than Reagan when he took office. Add to that the fact that women generally are healthier than man at that age.
