Did anyone give the golf course a call. Maybe they will reveal some info. I don't have a chance today.

Freddie: ACCY would generate revenue from sponsors (MONY?) and by selling television rights. Hopefully, those revenues would be greater than the cost of putting on the tournament.

Their press release today tells us that one of the costs, renting the golf course and facilities, is being provided for free. Other costs would be prize money and guarantees for players.

They have yet to announce a firm deal with a sponsor, or a television contract.

I see today's announcement as a disappointment. We have been promised news about player signings and sponsor committments, but instead we get a delay in the tournament, and an offer for use of a golf course.

Also, it looks like the tournament is now to be a one day event, when previously they were talking about 2 or 3 days. This release today was not what I was looking for, and I am out for now.

Will keep watching though. They get some players signed and some sponsors lined up and I may be back.
