>Bottom line: The $20 Billion BP is putting up will create a $7.5 Billion positive cash flow for BP this year and a $10.95 billion loss to our Treasury.

They can only book the hit when they SPEND it moron. That places $20B INTO the economy and communities (instead of BP's coffers and spent elsewhere by foreign shareholders or as bonuses to the British Board of Directors).

Another thing, No sane company would voluntarily spend money this way, unless it mitigates their LIABILITY. This is the MORONIC misconceptions that taking a $20B hit somehow makes BP more PROFITABLE. What a maroon you are. But, it's fitting with your atavistic value system.

Let's do some higher math...

+7.5B (alleged tax benefit) - $20B = -$12.5B Cash Flow
