House every 2 years How long before reelection is @ the forefront Senate every 6 years, staggered Reasonable President every 4 years, limited to two terms Seems the president is elected on a platform and then getting elected means he is going to have to compromise on everything he said he would do.. (Not directed @ Obama) .. One issue we only see up here in cases of minority governments.. Prez terms.. Yes I know.. .. Some variant might be a good idea for our PMs but terms are not fixed .. so that is an issue.. Not just your system.. ours also.. thinking neither is a government of the people as much as controlling the people...
