Let's clarify: it wasn't the Obama White House; it was the Rahm Emmanuel White House who thoroughly shit on all the hopes we had for change. As in Eucledian geometry, this in my mind is an a priory of American political life. Rahm was the input point for the lobbyists. For the common man, it was a no-brainer that the public option was the way to go. Man, did we get hoodwinked, conned, sweet-talked, Madison avenued, etc by the large green. No, don't blame Obama. He's just trying to stay alive. Good thing God still runs it. I got hope.
