A lot of it is indeed crap, but there is also a lot of good stuff that comes from the minds at Harvard.

Can't always have useful stuff coming out of academia. It just doesn't work that way. Ideas are usually brainstormed, then put through the crucible of public review.

Gotta make sure the review process, however, isn't tainted or controlled by those with agendas (e.g. global warming zealots).
