Hey man, thanks. They gave me an alternate url that was supposedly faster three months ago, but it did not work at all! Maybe this one will.

Thanks again. Indeed, I originally came to this thread asking if anyone had an alternate url. Finally, a good one comes through.

There's nothing magical about that number used as a URL. Once you get to that page and click on the Customer Login button, you go to the same place as always. The number simply bypasses looking up the number from the name in the DNS (domain name server) of your ISP. They are just blowing the usual smoke that the problem is with your ISP or the internet in general, not with ETRADE.
