Canadian "scientists" wear skins of animals, handle crucibles with boxing gloves and answer duh-uh? to most questions. When something difficult, like integration of two numbers comes up they call Harvard 1-2-3. Its a simple number they can remember with a recording on it: "1+1=2, 2+2=4" etc.. saves having american consultants camped up here. I guess penicillin, the electron microscope the telephone, satellite communication, insulin, kerosene, heterodyne radio, nc machining, tube radio, hollerith cards, automatic mail sorting, winter wheat, pablum, instant mashed potatoes, the gas masks, the G suit, the proximity fuse, the stealth bomber, acetone, radar, helium, and the 12 pack handle were just lab accidents.
