'Okay then…what the hell am I smoking? Let’s look at it another way. What the hell is the Fed smoking? We have a stock market trading at or near 19-month highs and the Fed is talking about QE II to the 7th trillionth degree. What do they know that we don’t? I think they know the Payroll data is much worse than anticipated. If the Fed doesn’t guarantee the market a Bernanke Put, a bad number will spook Wall Street…which in turn will spook Joe Public…which in turn will put a fork in the Christmas shopping season."
