Unless APM speaks up, which we all know won't happen, the price is probably going to keep declining. The only indications we get on APM is from WDC. Since WDC is in the wipping shed, and WDC is going all out for MR conversion, the market , myself included, can only speculate a negative impact for APM in the near term. It will probably be 2 1/2 months before APM makes any further comments. A long time for current APM investors to not know what's happening. Though I know APM will do well in the longer term future, it seems foolish to try to buck market sentiment in this situation.

So ends my "Dear John" letter to Applied Magnetics, but I'll be back.

Regards

Buddy
