BYD had a big move as well. The gaming revenue bump should buy them both some time (BYD actually has a better balance sheet and would survive in any event.....they wisely cut their losses in the middle of constructing the Echelon project in mid 2008 and that saved their bacon. Very gutsy move). They are basically a locals casino chain and will need the overall Vegas economy to really get going to get profits growing significantly. It could happen, there's a bottom somewhere for Vegas......it's been a grim 3 years there and it's hard to imagine things getting much worse.
