"I think the (D)'s suck, but they have a FEW people fighting the good fight for good, honest government." I made a similar point last week. I pointed out that the Dems and the Repubs both dance to the tune of the moneyed class, but every once in a while the Dems do snap out of it and try to do the right thing. It rarely lasts, but the Repubs never do. "The fact that the (R)'s are led by John Boehner, a guy who used to pass out $10k tobacco corporation checks on the floor of the House when they had a vote they needed tells you all anyone should need to know about that party." Funny how the wingnuts here pretend this never happened. Perhaps they think that is what the Founding Fathers intended...
