That's pretty impressive although 0.2 liters/minute isn't a very good flow rate. Haven't looked at filters in about 5 years and they have come a long way since then. Definitely time to re-evaluate as $40 is cheap for ensuring that much safe drinking water.

Still $1/gallon is about the usage cost. Great for occasional use but would like to find something for about $0.25/gallon. Will probably look into ceramic filters again as Patron suggests.
