Tommaso, I was not aware of his involvement with Harvard. Was he before or after Summers, as I understood that Summers blew up Harvard's nest egg. I think El-Erian is a very bright guy, but he is a PIMCO guy. They have an air about them that they are above it all, but we know they either get favors or stomp their feet until someone does what they want. I guess when you can sink Treasuries with your market power, you get what you want. GT TH

Tommaso, I'm not trying to be an ass, but I believe you and I had a few discussions about the Volt. Did you see that link on what the Volt really is? jalopnik.com My information at the time was from a high level advanced engineering manager. I didn't push the point at the time, as I was already crossing a line with respect to secrecy. I went back and challenged that engineer after our messages and he told me that he could no longer discuss it, but don't believe what you read. Gas engine to wheels (with continued support from electric). GT TH
