Captain, do you dismiss all arguments on why ASND is a problem stock with, "Been there, done that..." ? Sometimes you have to open your eyes to problems onboard your ship and stop daydreaming on what you and Lt. O'Hura will be doing later that night. I think you should be listening to Scotty in Engineering in his Scottish accent, "I'm giving her all she can Captain... No go!" Listen and you may hear your crew saying, "Mayday Mayday, eject eject!" Strange that no one has seen the positive side of WCOM getting MCI rather than GTE. From what I last remember GTE (thru BBN) was a major purchaser of Cisco equipment and with WCOM (Uunet) its the other way around (they buy more from Ascend). So actually Ascend may get inroads into MCI which again was a Cisco stop shop. Not much negative on Cisco but definitely bodes well for Ass-end. And again someone was pointing out to 10% growth rate for Ascend in the second half of 98, which I wanted to remind was quarterly sequential growth which many a company would love to have. And yet again it remains to be seen that it actually happens else we get spanked further at the Ass-End S&M store. -hitesh
