Paul, I checked out the TPC website embedded in your post, and the results for the ALR Server you mention have not been accepted yet by TPC (i.e., verified). I have seen several web sites speed up immensely when they moved from Windows NT to a Unix platform. Perhaps as a database transaction server Windows NT is more optimal than as a web server. Its no secret that Microsoft considers their biggest problem to be "scalability" in the server market.
