David, ever heard of buy on the rumor (hype) sell on the news? What did you expect to happen at the news conference? Who was left to buy more apple shares? The speculators and traders drove the price up.. they are VERY short term players.. ever heard of the term profit taking? Regardless of what the news was, AAPL was bound to go down.. stock climbed on expectations all last week and even today.. anything short of a BUYOUT or TAKEOVER annoucements would have sent the stock tumbling... Case in point, DDIM had a conf call the day after earnings release.. stock popped up 3 points off intraday low and at 2pm.. the naive ones got in late and expected the stock to go higher... gimme a break.. the stock dropped 2pts during and after the conf call and continued to drop... "rational" has nothing to do with it.. people, volatility is caused by PANIC buyers and sellers... and there is little rationality in panic.. infact it is the lack of rationality which allows for EMOTIONS to take over... Fear and Greed... Until the traders came along and 15 more mms popped on the lvl2 screen apple was dead money for months and months... if you want to invest in this DOG, be my guest.. but understand that you are a sitting target for the traders and they will pickpocket you to the poorhouse.. I've read your pathetic posts and realize that most of you people are wishful thinkers... predicting announcements that you 'feel' are coming... believing these rumors concocted on the internet.. conspiracy theories... To the moron who claimed I bought at 21.. wrong. I shorted 2k share just above 21 and watched the dog CRUMBLE on my lvl2 screen.. it was a no brainer.. so easy too take money from chumps like you.. my god.. Its that kind of ridiculous assuming that is a model profile of a stock market loser... Live and learn... looking to SHORT some more when the time is just right.. Snipe'
