well if either of us knew the exact timing of the failure of the latest fed gambit we wouldn't be posting here <gg> the reason the rest of the world does not impose discipline is because they are afraid of killing the golden goose...it is that simple.... if you do vendor financing, do you cut off your primary customer? i think we know the answer to that my point is the dollar destruction will not last beyond a chaotic rise in commodity cost because DEMAND WILL COLLAPSE...2008 was a dress rehearsal.. the fed has been pushing a string with the false expectation that QE would stimulate demand.... it will not... i think we get one last round of it before 'recognition phase' begins in earnest....i expect to see bernanke gone by 2012

I'm gonna test the futures market for fava beans and fine Chianti....and the rate meat prices are rising we're likely to see clownsumers go all Hannibal Lecter on each others arses.
