Yeap,
I tested and it hangs.

Let us see how Intel will respond soon.

What is the cause of this bug?

>.Ike, dont you think that the Pentium bug is going to pull
Intel down in the near term? <,

I am not IKE but let me answer this.. Its all BULL!
Of course theres 101 ways to crash a pentium or any other cpu for that matter. Which is why us computer security people get paid the big bucks. To keep malacious hacker types away from there accounting machines running the paychecks and billing. To make such a big thing out of this can only mean one thing, The same thing I noticed in the dd sector months ago when a lot of high ranking people were short on it but the stocks didnt go down fast enough for them so they started leaking little bits of news now and then, mostly false at the time. Abiet later on there was problems with SEG and their suppliers and things like this comes and goes. People were saying theres pricing pressures and disk drive dumping etc etc.. gee now there is for sure but was it there at the time?

There is no ISP that will be affected by this bug, none nada not a single one. If anyone is they shoudnt be in the ISP game anyway since they will not only be a danger to themselves but to others as well.
No one should be any more affected by this bug than all the viruses and AOL trojans stealling your credit card numbers. Or even MSFT uploading all the info on those pirated programs you have on your hard disk when it scans your drive and uploads your registeration to them.

>>.This will hang the system. The implications of this bug are pretty severe IMHO<<

So is breaking a bone.. If it hurts then dont do it..

ps the msft line in the message is a joke in case someone takes it as serious..
