Crazed Teabagger Candidate Brandishes Rifle, Promises to “Take On” Obama Admin…No Wait, It Was West Virginia Democratic Governor…

Remember the outrage when Palin used crosshairs to highlight vulnerable Democrats?…

Never mind the fact that Manchin is running on an anti-Obama platform…

West Virginia Dem Governor Comes Out in Favor of Repealing ObamaCare…

Political opportunist…

(The Hill)- West Virginia Gov. Joe Manchin (D) said he’d be in support of repealing the entirety of the new healthcare reform law if it can’t be fixed.

Manchin, the Democratic candidate for Senate in W.Va. who’s been falling behind in his race against Republican John Raese, said that he supports repealing part of the bill, and, if that doesn’t work, all of it.

“The president’s plan — ‘Obamacare,’ as it’s been called — is far too reaching. It’s overreaching. It needs to have a lot of it repealed,” Manchin said Monday on Fox News. “If you can’t fix that, repeal the whole thing.”

…Other Democrats have also distanced themselves from the healthcare reform law or advocated changes.

Alexi Giannoulias, the Democratic nominee for the Senate in Illinois who’s vowed to form a “Progressive Caucus” in the Senate, has called for some reforms to the legislation.

“I am running on jobs and I’m running on helping small businesses,” said Giannoulias on Sunday’s “Meet the Press.”

“And look, the healthcare bill was far from a perfect vehicle,” Giannoulias added, before outlining some of the reforms in the bill that he welcomed.

Inode, only thing the Dems can do is scare their base into voting. Demonize the Tea Party, tell lies about Republicans, and bring back some of the old Obama magic of 2008.

I'm thinking the Dems are also trying to get the independent voters to stay home, since they're leaning toward voting out the incumbents. "Yeah, we suck, but look at how stupid our opponents are! You best stay home and accept us, the status quo!"
