Those boxes are old and that plastic is not fresh. Send it back.

How do you know it's "MDE plastic" ? Did you see the condition of the boxes in the video?

They looked like they were 5 years old. An ancient beat-up box being used to hold garbage doesn't look to me like something any company would be selling. Looks more to me like they came from a 3rd party industrial source that bought products from MDE. MDE makes thermoplastic parts for the automotive industry.

It looks to me, for example, like MDE sold plastic parts to Chyrsler who recycled the box for their waste plastic. These boxes don't look like first-time use to me. They are soiled and beat up badly:
