That information concurs with dated info I found several years ago. At that time, US had a 10:1 ratio of retail sq ft space per capita versus other developed nations.
Another of many reasons we were foolish to give unregulated overseas manufacturers access to the Rodeo Drive of the world without paying commensurate tariffs/rent.
