I've read some say that this foreclosure debacle will test the recent "financial reform" legislation. Given that probably very few legislators and their lobbyists thought that any bank resolution would ever actually be necessary (at least while they were in office), it will be interesting to see how they have to amend the legislation to bail out the banksters again.

HR 3808 seems to have been designed as a quick fix to give the banksters a way to get around the messy issue of what to do about the affidavit issue in at least 23 different jurisdictions, but since O vetoed it and the media is onto the issue they'll have to come up with some other gimmick.
