Old news but interesting numbers Koo Koo Roo - California Chicken Kitchen Spreads Its Wings Eastward Koo Koo Roo - California Kitchen (Los Angeles based - Publicly Traded - KKRO) is the originator of the Boneless Skinless Flame Broiled Chicken Breast. Other outstanding fresh items include Fresh Roast Turkey, Marinated Rotisere Chicken and an array of Garden Patch Salads. "Giving People a Happier, Healthier, Longer Life Thru a Dining Experience" The units are 2,000 to 3,000 square foot units. The Units can gross as much as $ 1,000 per square foot in Annual Sales. Recent units opened in Bayside, NY and Westfield, NJ. A new protype will open soon at Washington's National Airport. Presently there are 31 operating units with strongest concentration in Los Angeles and Orange Counties in CA. 11 Additional units are in development. Plans call for 30 units to open over the next year and 40 units over the next year. Desired sites will have Daytime Office Populations of at least 10,000 white collar workers. Evening residential populations should have a minimum of 150,000 people within 5 miles and have a 2 mile median family income in excess of $ 50,000.
