I have not read much lately about the hugh capital gains tax increase, which is looming large only two-plus months away. After the U.S. elections in early November, I would expect to see equity market outflows increase as participants move to lock in capital gains for the year, at the significantly lower tax rate. I imagine the same logic is also part of an algorithm in a machine, deep beneath the street. -ng-
