What is one of the first things an irresponsible person does when they come to the conclusion that they are bankrupt and that there is no way out? They MAX out what is left of their credit, borrowing and spending every last bit they can.

The US seems no different. It appears that they are knowingly maxing out what is left of their credit in one last giant orgy of spending..
