Ahhh... the god old days. IPO Tuesday morning, stock split at noon, bankrupt by market close.

Now CD, don't be so cynical. The bankruptcy did not occur for a few days, you forgot that insiders had to sell out at the top first.

What was that Linux company which had it's all time market high 60 seconds after the open (320 a share, I think) which then plunged into the abyss. VA Linux I think. That was amazing, like a shark feeding frenzy. I just googled and found an article -- opened at $30, closed at $239, but as I recall hit $320 about 1 minute after the open.

I miss those days... like the plague.
