elmat, your point is taken but it appears you don't understand how various forms of HFT operate.

Perhaps it would be more acceptable if HFT risk was limited to HFT traders, and they alone were paying for the consequences of their actions --- but that is not the case.

Wayo doesn't cause or increase systemic risk. HFT does.
